	I'm sorry we didn't get together at Stanford this summer.
I guess you must have been tired and so was I.

	The financial situation is not as good as I had expected.
Also the Department is more cautious about logic programming
than I expected.  The best I have been able to do is to
invite Antonio Porto for Winter Quarter.
Maybe I'll be able to do better later.
